Common issues

1. 'apachectl' keeps on telling me bad words

If you do believe your Apache config is well written, but 'apachectl' does not want it, that is because you have a too old Apache web server.
You need to install a new one (version greater or equal to 1.3.20).

2. Unable to find /pws

The Apache web-server does not know about the '/pws' directory. You may have forgotten whether to copy the 'pws.conf' file or to restart the web-server.

3. Internal Server Error

This one usually happens because of a misconfiguration of the Apache web-server. You need to uncomment the following lines in the '/etc/httpd/httpd.conf' file :

LoadModule env_module libexec/httpd/mod_env.so
and
AddModule mod_env.c

4. Nothing happens when I create a task sequence

This one usually happens because of a misconfiguration of the Apache web-server. You need to uncomment the following lines in the '/etc/httpd/httpd.conf' file :

LoadModule action_module libexec/httpd/mod_actions.so
and
AddModule mod_actions.c

5. All the pages are blank

This one usually happens because of a misconfiguration of the Apache web-server. You need to uncomment the following lines in the '/etc/httpd/httpd.conf' file :

LoadModule mime_module libexec/httpd/mod_mime.so
and
AddModule mod_mime.c

6. I cannot authenticate

This one usually happens because of a misconfiguration of the Apache web-server. You need to uncomment the following lines in the '/etc/httpd/httpd.conf' file :

LoadModule auth_module libexec/httpd/mod_auth.so
and
AddModule mod_auth.c
